Short biography

Pedro Torres (Brazil, 1982) is a multimedia artist and independent curator. His artistic work focuses on different subjects but always related to a certain notion of time, distance, memory, language, and imagery. His works have been shown and screened in solo shows (Barcelona, Berlin, Lisbon and Valencia), group exhibitions (mostly in European and South American countries) and biennials. He was in residency in Berlin, Seoul and Barcelona. He was granted by the Marcelino Botín Foundation (Spain), Sala d'Art Jove (Barcelona), Culture Department of the Government of Catalonia (Barcelona) and Blueproject Foundation (Barcelona). He lives and works in Barcelona.
